Challenges
One of the largest insurance companies in Poland, Aviva (currently part of Allianz), faced the challenge of creating a portal supporting sales and after-sales service of various types of insurance through many sales channels (agents, insurance agencies, brokers, financial institutions).
The challenge was to enable the sales process to be carried out from providing the necessary information about the product, through calculations, preparing and adapting the offer to the customer, to finalizing the insurance contract in the form of a policy printout. The client also expected full digitization of sales processes and document circulation, wanting to reduce the costs of printing and shipping paper documents. The challenge was to support multiple sales channels, which would ultimately increase sales. EO took up the challenge of creating a solution dedicated to the needs of our client.

Solution
Responding to the needs of our client Aviva, EO has created a Web Portal, a solution that supports the sale and service of various types of insurance products for agents and partners cooperating with Aviva.
Our solution gives insurance agents and partners access to the full Aviva insurance offer along with the necessary information materials, thanks to which they can perform calculations and prepare a detailed offer for the client. The Web Portal also supports employees in post-sales service, providing them with customer information and data on their insurance products. As a result, agents can control the insurance flow by responding to important events such as premium indexations, policy renewals and claims. In addition, agents also have the necessary data to propose new products to protect other areas of the insured customer’s life.
The system we have implemented provides a calendar module that allows you to plan the agent’s working day, and in a broader perspective, it makes it easier for managers to monitor work progress and manage the team. In the case of insurance agencies, the system also offers support for cash payments, which facilitates the settlement of payments between the agency and the Aviva Insurance Company.
The implementation of the Web Portal system improved the daily work of insurance agents and Partners cooperating with Aviva and contributed to increasing sales by making the tool available in many sales channels. Additionally, the implementation of electronic document circulation allowed us to reduce the costs associated with handling printouts and shipping of paper documents. Moreover, integration with Aviva product systems reduced the amount of manual work and the need to make corrections, which increased efficiency and accelerated the process of finalizing insurance contracts.
